NPO nil per os (Latin, "nothing by mouth")
PRN pro re nata (Latin, "as the thing is needed")
Pt patient
RR respiratory rate
Rx prescription (Latin recipe)
s or s/ or s with a line over it without (Latin sans, "without")
Sx sign and/or symptom
Sz seizure
Tx treatment
wt weight
