Unit 10 Introduction

The Digestive System is a series of organs within the body that are responsible for the transportation, digestion, absorption, and elimination of food. Absorbed nutrients are passed on to the vascular system for distribution throughout the body. Waste products and unusable substances are eliminated from the body in the form of feces.

Objectives

After you complete this unit, you will be able to:
