32 Research Reflection by Fernanda Guzman

This summer program was my first experience in undergraduate research, and it has helped me find out who I am as a researcher. I have always been very passionate about social justice concerns so getting to conduct hands on research in the field has been a great experience. SPUR has made me more confident in my academic abilities as well as my abilities as a researcher. This program has also helped me solidify what my goals will be after graduation. I hope to pursue a long career in the public health field in order to advocate for the health of marginalized communities.
