How the Nervous System is Assembled

As we learn the structure of the brain, we first need to examine its basic components and how they are assembled.

The learning objectives for this Part include:

  1. Explain the major divisions of the nervous system.
  2. Recognize the three primary and five secondary brain vesicles.
  3. Demonstrate how the embryonic development of the brain is reflected in the structure of the spinal cord.
