Faculty Mentor: Jennifer Weidhaas (Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Utah)

My background is in microbiological research. I’ve been involved in research on subjects ranging from mitochondrial dysfunction to genetic diversity in major histocompatibility complex in wild mice from 2019. I have limited experience in civil and environmental engineering, and have found it a valuable field to gain knowledge in. I plan to pursue graduate study in the field of epidemiology and work in translational medicine.
