One area where goals can make a big difference is finances. This chapter will help you learn more about the money management resources at UVU.

What does money management have to do with college success? At the end of every semester, a lot of students—especially first-year students—drop out of college. At UVU, we contact all of these students and the number one reason for not returning to college is money, finances. When we actually drill down into their reasons for not returning, there are other reasons they didn’t return, but it is true that finances are a huge issue and problem. This brief video (less than a minute) addresses this concern:
