Faculty Mentor: Lee Raby (Psychology, University of Utah)
My undergraduate research experience has had a huge impact on both my education and career goals. Before beginning my work as a research assistant in the Early Experiences Lab (supervised by Dr. Lee Raby), I had no idea what I would do after graduating. However, just one month into working in Dr. Raby’s lab, it became clear that I had a passion for research in developmental psychology. Over the past two years, I have fulfilled various roles in the Early Experiences Lab, joined the Life-span Development & Adaptation Lab (supervised by Dr. Cynthia Berg), participated in the UROP, worked on an Honors thesis, and more. My goal is to earn a doctoral degree in developmental psychology. I feel fortunate to have come across these opportunities during my time at the University of Utah, and for the mentorship I have received from faculty, graduate students, and peers along the way.
