My undergraduate research experience taught me to be accountable, creative, and comfortable with uncertainty. I really valued the collaboration with my mentor during our weekly meetings and enjoyed sharing updates with the lab group. I’ve built valuable skills both in and out of the lab, and gained a broader perspective on how engineering can be applied in diverse ways. While I don’t plan to go to grad school right now, I feel confident that when I choose that path, I’ll be prepared and ready to succeed.
