Faculty Mentor: Sara Simonsen (Nursing, University of Utah)

Undergraduate research is an incredible opportunity provided by the University of Utah. Although a very long process, being introduced to research early in my academic career made me a more confident/capable student. My degree is in Nursing and my experience working under Dr. Sara Simonsen and as a member of her team made me feel empowered to advocate for evidence based care in my future career. I am endlessly grateful for this opportunity and all of the help and time given to me by my mentor and faculty.
