130 Research Reflection by Bridget Raymundo

Faculty Mentor: Martin Horvath (School of Biological Science, University of Utah)

As a young scholar, research is my preferred method of learning. I am applying to medical school, and my experience in research teaches me critical skills in problem solving. I am fortunate the laboratory I chose has a team of encouraging students to support me in leading my first independent research project. The topics of my project incorporate biological and chemical subjects related to my major and minor, pushing me to deeply understand my studies. I have developed a stronger foundation of knowledge and confidence within a scientific professional setting for my future career in medicine.
