My research at University of Utah has been transformative, largely due to exceptional opportunities I have had to engage in cutting-edge medical research. The allure of being at the forefront of scientific discovery was the primary reason I transferred here as a sophomore. I wasted no time diving into the research community, participating in a variety of projects across basic science, clinical science, entrepreneurial, translational, health equity, and simulation research. These experiences were made possible through the support of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) and another paid research position. My involvement in these diverse projects allowed me to develop both my passion for helping people and my drive to advance scientific knowledge and innovation.
