115 Research Reflection by Lexie Bingman

Faculty Mentor: Chan Yul Yoo (School of Biological Sciences, University of Utah)

Being an undergraduate researcher has been the most important experience of my undergraduate career. It has strengthened my love of science by encouraging curiosity, learning, and collaboration. Joining the Chan Yul Yoo lab has provided me invaluable experiences and has helped me realize my love for molecular biology. It has made me excited to see what the future holds for this field and excited to learn more about it. It has been such an honor to be involved in exciting new research as an undergraduate, and I can’t thank my mentor and lab mates enough for teaching me.
