My undergraduate research experience has helped me become a more critical thinker, explore my curiosity, and act as a leader. Often I would learn about something in my biology courses and later replicate it in my research lab. I believe the skills I gained in research will help me become a physician-scientist who is innovative and helps advance the medical field in the future.
