Faculty Mentor Akiko Kamimura (Sociology, University of Utah)

Doing research as an undergraduate student at the U has been one of the most impactful experiences I’ve ever had. Sociology is cool because you get to do research that involves the community, and will hopefully make an impact in future health promotion initiatives. I would like to thank Dr. Akiko Kamimura, as well as all of my previous professors who’ve taught me the skills I needed to do this.
