168 Research Reflection by Andrew Parker

Faculty Mentor: Lee Raby (Psychology, University of Utah)
I have been part of Dr. Raby’s lab for the last 2 years. I am a lead research assistant for the baby behavioral coding team and I also clean HRV data. The data I used for my UROP was data that I helped code and that a team I trained helped code. I also created the dataset for the study. This made me feel even more invested in my research for my UROP, since I had been part of the research experience long before the UROP. My undergraduate experience with research has solidified my goal of wanting to obtain my PhD in Psychology.
