74 Enrolling as “Future Teachers”

If you want to give faculty access to a Canvas course so they can view and import the content (but not change anything in the Master or Parent course), you can enroll them in the course as a “Future Teacher.” This reduces risk of faculty changing material in a master or parent course used by others.

Things to note about importing content as a Future Teacher:

• Announcements will NOT import if they have FUTURE delivery dates.
• Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes WILL import with FUTURE due dates.
