39 Course Review Response

Review Response Process

NOTE: Course review responses must be professional, even if you or the faculty disagree with the results. Concerns about feedback should be escalated to Seth separately.

  1. The Coordinator (Rachel) receives notification that the report is completed. She exports the report, attaches in Monday, and completes the survey.
  2. The Report Survey is sent to the IDA Director (Seth). He makes any necessary comments for the ID and completes the survey.
  3. The QR Report and Survey are sent by email to you, the ID. Seth’s notes about the course are in the email.
  4. Once you get the report, send a copy to the faculty and schedule a meeting to review the results and write the response.
    • You can export the report (Crtl + P) or use the original report that Rachel attached in Monday.
  5. During the meeting with faculty, open the survey and collaborate with the faculty to write response comments in the boxes provided below each section. These comments will be embedded in the Review Response Report.
  6. After embedding comments into the Report, press “Next” at the bottom of the survey to generate a dynamic Course Review Response.
    • Only items that have less than sufficient scores are included along with the reviewers’ notes.
  7. Export the Course Review Response by following the instructions on the page. (Copy and Paste the data into a Word doc.) Most of the necessary formatting will be making the font consistent throughout the document.
  8. Check the response comments for accuracy and tone.
  9. Send the Course Review Response to Seth for approval.
