83 Recovering Deleted Canvas Items
“/undelete”
Oops! Did you accidentally delete something for your Canvas course???
Solution: Add “/undelete” after the course number in the browser address. Scroll through the items and restore the item you mistakenly deleted.
Note: Some types of Canvas content will not appear on the /undelete page. It is not the equivalent of the Trash (Mac OS) or Recycle Bin (Windows). You should not rely on undelete, but you may consider it as a possible solution in case of a backup.
If “/undelete” doesn’t show what you are missing, try the Canvas beta environment (described below).

Did something disappear from the course you are working on?
Check the beta instance of Canvas by adding “uvu.beta.instructure.com/…” to the beginning of your Canvas course address. The Beta instance is refreshed (updated from the working copy of the course) every Saturday.
What is the Canvas Beta Environment?
Although you cannot import from the Beta Canvas instance, you can copy/paste the details of your missing item(s).
