Introduction to Common Pediatric Seizure Syndromes
This part of the book, Common Pediatric Seizure Syndromes, is intended for the use of students who are new the field of Electroneurodiagnostics. The first edition of this textbook primarily targets students who are enrolled in a Neurodiagnostics program and are preparing to take to the ABRET R. EEG T. exam. The content of this book will primarily cover epilepsy syndromes in the context of EEG as it pertains to the R. EEG T. exam.
The goal of this book is to provide multiple ways to engage with content to enhance understanding of the material. Clear, and understandable text will be broken down into short chapters that focus specifically on a single topic. Many chapters will have short video lectures associated with them, aimed to cover the high yield subjects.
At the end of each section, there will be short quiz to evaluate understanding of the content. These should be utilized to identify gaps in knowledge for the upcoming R. EEG T. exam.
